Suggestions

Suggestions are clickable opening prompts shown when a conversation is empty. Clicking one sends its text verbatim as the user's message.

Set default prompts

Open the agent's Suggestions settings and edit Default prompts. Add, reorder, or remove prompts to control the list shown on pages without a matching route override. Each prompt's kind selects its display icon; it does not change how the agent answers.

An empty default list shows no suggestions on unmatched pages.

Override by route

Use Add route to supply a different list for a path prefix. A route replaces the default list rather than adding to it.

• /settings matches /settings and /settings/profile, but not /settings-extra.
• The longest matching prefix wins: /settings/billing takes priority over /settings.
• A matching route with no prompts shows no suggestions; it does not fall back to the default list.

Override from your app

Your app can pass a suggestions list to the embedded assistant. This replaces the dashboard-authored default and route lists, including when your app passes an empty list to hide suggestions.

Leave the override unset to use the agent's configured suggestions in the assistant drawer. See Install for passing suggestions from your frontend and Surfaces for other assistant surfaces.

Save and publish a revision to update the agent's configured suggestions.
